As the apparatus is applied, separatation occurs between the lumbar vertebrae and their discs.  As the patient begins to walk for 20 minutes, the separation affords relief of back and leg pain.  It is probably one of the safest traction with the quickest response in stabilizing these symptoms.

Our clinic is one of a few clinics who have this apparatus.

For a demonstration of the Ambulatory Traction, watch this video as Dr. Napoli demonstrates the procedure on a patient at Napoli Chiropractic Clinic.

This Ambulatory traction video demonstrates another unique aspect of Napoli Chiropractic Clinic and separates us from many other clinics.

This is a Ambulatory traction, which is a traction that is placed on the back and separates the spine and all the spinal segments and the disc, taking pressure off the disc and the nerves. As the device is separated and the patient walks in the brace, motion is induced between the facet joints thereby relieving pressure and pain.

For a demonstration of the Ambulatory Traction in motion, watch this video as Dr. Napoli demonstrates the procedure on a patient at Napoli Chiropractic Clinic.

With this lumbar therapy, the Ambulatory Traction is applied to the body and snugged in. We then gently lift and separate the vertebrae and the discs, taking pressure off nerves, the joints and the discs. The patient then walks around the clinic for approximately 15 minutes back and forth when with that motion, you get the facet joints moving again, which have been jammed in an injury. With that, it relieves their pain while they walk and they love it!
